A special video "Dementus' Descent" focusing on Chris Hemsworth's nemesis General Dementus has been released from the hit movie "Mad Max: Furiosa". Co-stars and director George Miller have also given rave reviews. Chris, who has a strong image of a hero in "Thor" and other films, showed off his strange performance as a villain this time, demonstrating his wide range as an actor. The Dementus he plays runs, plunders, invades, and dominates in the wilderness, fueling the flames of Furiosa's rage. Such Dementus is a despicable man who kidnaps Furiosa when she is a child and kills her mother in front of her. He is the main villain of this film, who pretends to be a savior and tries to rule the devastated world.

To play this quirky character, Chris had many discussions with director Miller to refine the character's image. "His personality has become distorted by his life of suffering in a desolate land. He has forgotten that he once had hope," he said, analyzing that there was a conflict in his actions that at first glance seemed to be arrogant. This resulted in Dementus being born as a character with depth, not just a villain. Director Miller was also astonished by Chris's thoughts on the role. "When I first met Chris, I was amazed by his sharp observation skills. When I asked him, 'What do you think a charisma is?' He answered, 'A leader who has humor and charms people.'" He passionately stated that he was the perfect person to play Dementus.

During filming, Chris was always in communication with the actors of the biker group led by Dementus, and naturally took the center of attention on set. Lucky Hume, who plays the other villain in the film, Immortan Joe, was also amazed by his behavior. "I've never seen Chris so engrossed in his role before," he said, shocked by Chris's concentration on his role and his "charisma" that attracts people in real life. Director Miller was also very satisfied with Chris's careful role preparation, saying, "It's like a historical ruler." Anya Taylor-Joy, who played Furiosa, also gave the highest praise for the perfection of the look, saying, "I love Chris' look this time. When I first saw it, I thought it was very cool and it was perfect for the setting."

This film is the story of Furiosa's 15 years, but if you think of it as the story of Dementus' 15 years, you will see a different side of it. Furiosa finds hope in this world with her promise to her mother in her heart, but in contrast, Dementus can be said to be in a sense despairing of the world. It is a must-see along with Chris' passionate performance, which expresses the delicate changes in his heart by changing his appearance and the way he calls himself as he gets older.
